Article Screenrant appears to be safe "to stop Armageddon" means that the X-Men character, not Armageddon "Armageddon", as in the end of the world. (Do not even think that could mean "Armageddon", as in the Michael Bay film, and X-Men First Class was to stop a movie to go into production. Shame on them.)
Personally, I think the apocalypse "Armageddon" makes much more sense that the character of a couple of reasons: 1) Armageddon is partly created by Jean Grey, who is not a movie, 2) refers to the plot summary of Professor X and Magneto, as men and mutants, but never refers to Armageddon, and 3) the film to reveal the secret history of world-class events, "which sounds in accordance with the apocalyptic story, and 4) no longer makes sense for the mutant end of the fight to save the world - anywhere - and do not obscure the mutant, which does not fit into the history behind the world they have created?
